Hi all. My toddler is allergic to milk, egg and peanut and needs to gain weight. We're working with pedi, allergist and dietician but wanted to see if you had suggestions. I try to include soy butter, sunbutter and things like avocado, but I feel it's hard since we can't have full fat wcm, cheese and yogurt. Any diet suggestions?
Of the ones you listed, we are peanut and dairy free. Here are some of her favorites:
My daughter eats a lot of pasta with rice vegan cheese (it is soy and dairy free). It has a lot of calcium, which is good, but I can't remember the fat content.
Have you introduced almonds? My daughter loves almond dream ice cream.
Tater tots. The only ingredients are potatoes and oil.
Pancakes with Bisquick Heart Smart mix. You can use an egg replacer for the egg and rice milk for the milk.
Coconut yogurt or almond yogurt. I put it in a ziplock bag and cut a small piece of the bottom corner off and then squeeze it onto a cookie sheet and put it in the freezer. She loves her yogurt bites.
And she loves Chipotle's guacamole. Loves!

everything Miller said...
Almond butter if you can (it's easy to make it yourself)
Yogurt (coconut or soy)
Safe butter / olive oil - put it on everything (in pasta, on veggies, on bread...)
Hummus
there are fruit bars
rice krispy treats - make them yourself and add sun/soy butter
Oatmeal
Quinoa
Avocados - change it up and make guacamole (have your LO mix it)
