Vistaril ?

Sorry not a regular poster just wanted to know if anyone else has taken this while pregnant. I was given some on Saturday to stop contractions and read its for anxiety. My doc gave me prescription so if I have any more to take some . I have had restless leg really bad and I noticed it helped , I have not had any contractions but was thinking about taking one to help me sleep ( restless leg makes it hard) . I know my Dr. Wouldn't give me something harmful to my baby , I just feel guilty . So just wondering if anyone else has any experience Vistaril ?

    I also feel guilty for taking heartburn meds.  Have you looked up this med to see what class it is in?  I don't know much about this medication but have found the Rx class system to be reassuring.

    I was recently in the hospital and took this for three days to help stop contractions.  Normally I would research a medication before I take it, but there wasn't time.  I would look it up if I were you, or ask more questions.  I'm assuming that in general your dr. wouldn't prescribe something harmful, but I still like to be informed.

    I've taken it for anxiety, was told by several doctors it is as safe as Benadryl (Benadryl is fine to use during pregnancy).

    I got prescribed it for my anxiety about my upcoming RCS.. My Dr. said it was safe. It takes the edge off which is very nice! I was having panic attacks.
