Right now we are just using the bag that my Medela Freestyle came in. I have a Petunia Picklebottom, but I don't want to leave it at daycare so I really don't use it so much anymore. I love the fabric and the pockets, but the strap is made of seat belt material and never stays adjusted to the length I like.
We are going on vacation soon and will be walking a lot so I'm thinking about a backpack one now.
So we have a very large black diaper bag for long trips but this is our LO's diaper bag and honestly we love it and gets lots of compliments.
I got this when I got DH some tools for Christmas. What is nice it is not too big or too small and it has these mesh compartments on the side and they are great to put small things like a hair brush, toys ect.
I absolutely love the backpack style, especially when DD and I are out by ourselves. Waaay easier to shop and have hands free to tend to her while wearing a backpack, rather than a shoulder bag! It's not super huge, but we can go on an outing for several hours and I can fit everything I need in it.
I also have a Vera Bradley diaper bag. It's cute and has lots of pockets and holds more than the backpack. I usually reserve that one for a longer outing when I also have DH with us, since it holds more.
Im soo not a fan I feel like i dont have enough room and will definately need a new one when LO #2 comes around but i know if i spend $$$ on it DH will not be happy but oh well lol

Petunia Pickle Bottoms are the best. I have had two now. Actually, the last one was fine, it had a small stain from where a red crayon melted in one of the pockets. I gave it to my good friend and she still uses it.
They wipe clean very easily, they have a million pockets, but a nice part in the center where you can put large items. And, my favorite part is how the front folds open into a changing station. I highly recommend one!

I forgot to say that I've had several other bags and the ppb is so much better than any of them. I had a pottery barn kids brand bag, a Kate spade brand bag and one from babies r us.

Re: AW your diaper bag
I use a thirtyone tote as mine now....It has tons of pockets and works great. Also fits under the store great. Easy to carry.
Had the Vera Bradly one but it was to small.
FI has a camo bag his cousin gave him but not really a fan of that eaither.
I want this one but my FI would kill me if I bring another bag into the house...my gf has this and I love it. https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11107464&isTopSellingItem=true
