I have decided that I can't stand my microfiber inserts and I want to do away with them. Can I use a hemp insert instead, or are they really only intended as doublers?

They're the Thirsties Hemp Inserts. It's confusing because they're called inserts, but the description and all the reviews essentially refer to them as a doubler.

I've used a few different types of hemp inserts, but prefer them as doublers. Have you tried Bamboo inserts? If I'm going to reach for a natural fibre insert, I prefer Bamboo.

Re: Replacing MF with Hemp?
Depends if your hemps are doublers or inserts.
Prefolds are good to use in pockets to replace MF.
