In love with prefolds!

I am one that was interested in cloth diapering mostly for the $$ saving aspect.  I chose pocket diapers because I wanted it to be quick easy, and as close to disposables as possible (except for the washing of course)

I did not buy a big variety of brands (Fuzzi Bunz prefect fit, Kawaii OS, and the China Ebay OS kind)  However LO is 7 weeks now and still doesn't fit properly into any of the pocket diapers.

So last week I bought a few Snappi's, prefolds and covers and I am in LOVE!  I absolutely love the prefolds. I have one Bummis super whisper wrap, and one BestBottoms cover that are okay, and 4 Thirsties original covers with the gussets which I like so much I just ordered several more.   

I'm actually considering just selling the pocket diapers and staying with the prefolds. I'll give him another month or two to see if his little thighs ever get chunky enough for them, but if not I'm just going to sell them.

    Me too!  DD is 16 months old and we've only used prefolds, snappis, and Thirsties covers with her.  We initially looked into cloth for the cost and now I can't imagine using anything else!  We do have a couple of AIOs, but those are for baby-sitters.

    I would wait on selling but depending on how many you have you could always sell a few in a couple weeks and save at least 6-8. I go through phases, I am not a snappi lover, but like tri folding and LOVE flats for hw fast they dry.

    I love love my prefolds!! We started with a diaper service for a long time that's all I knew. Once I discovered what else was out there I was totally screwed, but PF's are my first love.

    Thanks, good to know! All I hear about is AIO's and such, but I'm really more interested in PF's and covers. This is our first babe so I'm open for advice about CD's. Thanks!

    My husband is super pro- prefold! I go out with DS more, and for that, I prefer pockets. Whatever works for you. FWIW, pockets only really started fitting recently, when DS was around 14 lb, so you might want to wait on getting rid of too much now.
