Homemade laundry detergent

Anyone out there use homemade laundry detergent? I started a few months ago because it's SO much cheaper. I make the liquid kind that uses Fels-Naptha bar soap.
Anyone know if this is good for baby in general? Anyone know if it works well with cloth diapering?!

you don't want to use any soap with cloth diapers, so the fels-naptha wouldn't work.
