- pack hospital bag and install car seat ASAP! Can't believe I haven't gotten to those yet.
- sterilize the bottles and pump my SIL is lending me...and pick up some 'just in case' formula...along with some other baby odds and ends (like a monitor).
We moved a month ago, so I'm feeling very disorganized and slightly overwhelmed...hoping she doesn't show up too early!
Arrange the nursery furniture and wash bedding and clothes, make a will, possibly get life insurance...and RELAX.
Just FYI, I tried to get life insurance last month and was told they would not process my application until after my 6 week pp appointment. Guess I should've taken care of that before I got KU!
Put one more coat of paint on the cheapie glider rocker I found. Wash my cloth diapers and newborn stuff, assemble the paper mobile I made, pack a bag and install the seat. Hang up a curtain rod in the nursery spin can hang the curtains I made.
I also need to make some food or at least prep some stuff to dump in the crock pot.
Do all the laundry, pack bags for hospirol and for DDs for grandmoms, get some non perishable easy things for DH to make, wanna make and freeze a lasagne and some other things, still gotta get wipes, more diapers, nursing pads, pads, organize baby toys and things, get all the rooms cleaned so I don't come home to a complete mess, and stock up on toilet paper and easy foods and drinks. I'm sure there's more, but my mind doesn't work too well right now lol
Pack hospital bag
Put together pack 'n' play
Install car seat
Make sure the house is mostly in order.. sure wish that burst of energy would show up for a day or two.
Have DH take some things to the basement I have been looking at forever that need to be stored away.
I just realized I have no newborn size diapers so I may pick up a small package.
Do some light cleaning in the rest of the house.
For me mainly it's housework. The baby stuff is done except the car seat. Just patiently waiting for my c-section date. Okay, not patiently but anxiously awaiting

Oh good idea! I almost forgot I wanted to prep some meals for DH and DD.
Nothing really. Just want to pick up another nursing cami n' zip up hoodie but not a necessity. Put the carseat in the car today, bag is packed, pack n' play is set up in our room with all the shelves stocked with onesies, little pants, sleepers, swaddlers, diapers, butt paste, wipes, and even the nursery is totally set for LO to arrive even though she won't be sleeping in there right away. Just need a baby!! lol
Every year we have a Memorial Day bbq at my house. Memorial Day and the 4th of July are FI's favorite days so we always have a big party. And this year will be no different, hopefully she will have arrived by then. Everyone did say that this year for Memorial Day bbq they are all bringing a covered dish. They don't have to but I know my family and friends and they will.
wash 0-3 mo clothes and blankets. Make the crib up with sheets etc.
sew 2 baby blankets
Make a few more freezer meals.
Get rock n play from SIL
sterlize bottles and toys
Buy the rest of the instore stuff I need off of the registry
Get some NB diapers and some wipes
Get a maxi dress
pack our hospital bags and put in the car
Prepare for being gone from work
Holy crap I have a lot to do.

Clean the house (nothing extreme, just overall tidying up and organizing)
Set-up swing and PNP downstairs
Waiting for nursing bras & tanks to finish drying (hung to dry) and put them in the suitcases.
Wash bottles, rings & caps (already boiled nipples & pacis and they are put away... I am hoping to nurse, but still want to get this done now just in case I need them).
My husband has to remove the bottom shelf on the changing table/dresser hutch and he has to secure the changing pad to the back of the dresser.
Our friend is coming over on Friday to get all the dog info down pat. He is going to be "on-call" to come and stay at our house and with the dog when we go to the hospital.
I am on a very early bill paying schedule so I just paid all the bills due in May so I am hoping that all the bills due in June come before I give birth (not due until 5.26) just so we won't have to worry about remembering to do it the first month haha.

Do some cleaning around the house, maybe maternity pics next week, and get the daddy over here! then have a baby and show him around the state. i think thats whats gonna happen...

That's strange because my husband and I both got life insurance this month so maybe it depends on the company? They never mentioned my pregnancy being an issue.
After almost 5 years of ttc, 2 miscarriages, one lost tube and IVF, we were blessed with an amazing little boy!!
Everything. Absolutely everything that was on my list, still needs to be done. Lol. Well, not everything - I've done quite a bit of non-baby related spring cleaning, but that's it.
Waiting to hear on a "short sale" if the seller's bank is going to accept our offer. Then from there it's moving everything, setting up the nursery, and then our stuff. Installing new smoke detectors (the house only has one in the kitchen), changing locks and all that good stuff.
Installing the carseat
Making and freezing some meals
Cleaning the cars
Finishing packing the hospital bag
I feel like I'm more worried about getting this house right now than the baby coming. Our bank told us that they can't finance us while I'm on leave, so if we don't close before I go on leave, it gets put on hold for another 6 or 7 weeks (We put in our offer in mid-December). So much for a short sale. All our stuff is in boxes in our 3 floor apartment and there's nowhere to put a baby. It will all work out, but just a little stressed.
- clean our bedroom and the dining room (which have become our dumping grounds)
- get a haircut lol
- get our golden retriever groomed (so he looks good when baby comes! kidding. more just bc we probably wont get around to it that first month baby is here and he'll need it by then.)
I think that's it. there are a lot of little stuff that I would "like" to do (wash the windows, for example) but if they dont get done, meh. But we really need to clean our bedroom haha.

I actually got new life insurance when I was 12 pregnant with twins. They didn't say anything about it. Maybe you should look into other companies?
I like this post!!!
ok, I still have to:
Hang curtains in nursery.
Buy a small table for nursery.
Buy and put up mirror decals for nursery.
finish packing the bag
Install car seat.
Other than that we are good to go!!!

Vacuum and clean out both cars
Clean entire house
Get pump from medical supply store when discharged from hospital. (they won't let me get it until after baby).
