Hi ladies! I'm Laurie, 32, I have a 13 year old daughter and almost 2 year old son. We lost out last pregnancy to anencephaly and found out in a research study that my husband carries a gene mutation that causes in adequate folic acid absorption. 2 months after the loss we got the surprise that we were expecting again! After finally being released from high risk at 20 weeks, we moved our care to a birthing center with an amazing midwife. I am so excited to be on this journey as this is my last baby. I'm always up for advice and I've been reading like crazy! Ina Mays Guide, Gentle Birth Choices, Thinking Woman's Guide...I'll be scouting the board for all the wisdom I can find!

Hey lady!! How is little Miss Hannah?
Btw, I'm taking that alfalfa, in doing 4 a day and so far so good. I got the organic kind.
Miss Hannah is doing great. 4 a day you are a rockstar, I took 2 and that was about all I could get down, but it worked super awesome, as I said in the alfalfa thread below my pp bleeding is almost nothing already!
Welcome!
Your kids are too cute for words!
