Cross your fingers for some progress to labor for me tomorrow!

I have my 40 week appointment (it's a few days early, my office is so overbooked that was the latest they could get me in, and they didn't want me going past my EDD (Friday). I've been 1cm, thick, and 0% effaced since 36 weeks. I was stripped at my 39 week appt, had great cramps/contractions/bloody show... and now nothing. I'm hoping all that did SOMETHING. My midwife did say she stretched me to 2cm. Hopefully it didn't snap back! LOL. I'm trying to get it in my head to go to 41 weeks if they'll let me. I'm not sure because my BP has been creeping up. Otherwise i'm looking at an induction possibly this weekend... which petrifies me.
