Cloth Diapering

Any CD mom's use cloth for your monthly?

I have seen that some CD moms decide to use cloth for their monthly cycle. If you do what are the pros and cons and brands that you love or hate. I would love to switch as I think that the tampons caused some dryness and other issues before this pregnancy.

Thanks!

  • I am planning on it.... I have a small stash now just to see if I like it. (I made my own)

Not investing a lot into it until I can try for a little while

  • I made 8 pads from the pattern on the eco friendly family blog.  The pattern was a bit small so I made mine bigger.  I have not had a chance to try them yet but they are really soft and I think they will be comfortable.  I am makng the switch because disposables irritate my skin.  I also switched to cloth nursing pads and that was wonderful.  They are so soft and cool.
  • Nope, but I do use a Diva Cup.  I love it as much as you can love anything period related.

  • I do and I LOVE them. It's like there is nothing there. My whole stash is from a WAHM called Randumosity and you can find her on FB.

Thank you for sharing this!  I've contemplated mama cloth but didn't want to spend tons of money in case I hate them.  I will be making some post pregnancy to try!

  • I have a couple of different brands and LOVE the minke pads and liners from PinkLemonadeShop on Etsy.  It's super easy to use mama cloth when you're already CDing.

  • Diva cup is so much nicer than cloth pads. I don't like pads, cloth or otherwise.
