I have a follicle! Not just any follicle, a mature one! 19mm to be exact. And my lining looks great at 16mm.
They are going to run the u/s and my labs to my doctor and he will determine the next step but the nurse said I will most likely trigger tonight and have IUI #1 tomorrow afternoon and IUI #2 Wednesday morning. I practically skipped out of there with my specimen cups in tow! Woot!
By the way, tomorrow I can have it done by my doctor but on Wednesday, I have the choice of going to another location to have another doctor do it OR go to my location and have the nurse do it. She said she's done many IUI's before but would understand if I would prefer to go to the doctor. I'm leaning towards the doctor, especially since it's about the same distance as my location but still not sure. WWYD?

Congrats on the follicle! I think you could go either way. All of my IUIs were done by nurses, and they seemed to go fine...one cycle was even successful! As long as she has done them before and both of you are comfortable with it, then you would be fine at either place!
Good luck!
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
This Cluttered Life
Ditto this. All of my IUIs were done by my RE's nurses, except for one. They weren't successful, but not because of the nurse. Congrats on the great follicle!
