Infertility Awareness Week
Myth: Seeking the help an RE (fertility doctor) is a quick and easy fix
Fact: Going to an RE is an often emotionally and financially exhausting option which does not guarantee a quick pregnancy. RE cycles include daily self-administerd injections, bloodwork and invasive ultrasounds every other day, with almost no insurance coverage.
It took us 1.5 years to get pregnant with Ethan and we have been actively trying for baby #2 for a year now. Many couples have been seeking help for much longer to start a family with no luck. If it was an easy fix...we'd all have our dream families by now.
