Plastibell circumcision

Anyone else's LO have the plastibell circumcision? It looks so awful and his is just barely hanging on. Got it done on Friday, a little worried it is coming off too soon.

I have no idea what kind my son (and older DS@) have....but nothing is hanging (or was w/DS2)...will ask my OB at my 6 week pp visit.

LO had this done. Dr. said it would come off in 7-10 days. It came off at exactly 7 days. If you are concerned I would call your Dr.

My LO had it. The upside to it is you can just "let it be"... LO's fell off after about a week... it hung by a thread for about a day which had me a little panicked but when it came off it looked fine. I wouldn't worry too much. They told me at the hospital that it could come off as early as 3 days and as late as 2 weeks. I just would make sure not to rub against it and let it come off on it's own.

DS had the plastibell done as well. It came off yesterday and that was at nine days. They say to just let it fall off on its own. It was a little scary when I saw it hanging, but he was fine.

My LO did. His fell off but was still stuck by the string at 1 week old. He rubbed his legs together when his diaper was off and pulled it off. It bled and scared me to death, but it quit really quickly and healed up fine.
