any problem with putting butter on LO's toast?

I dont think there'd be a problem but just wanted to check to see what other moms think/have been doing. LO LOVED it when I gave him a piece of my buttered toast....

    We do it.  Mostly to add calories though.

    I've given butter on bread, in mac and cheese, etc. No problems here!

    I've done it.

    I also spread fruit puree on his toast.  But I will give him mac and cheese, baked potato and mashed potatoes with butter too.

    I have been using fruit puree as spread on toast, waffles, pancakes. I don't see a problem with butter though. I am mostly doing it to use the purees we have that Mason doesn't really care for anymore. He prefers almost all finger food.

    We do for DS, although we have to use soy based due to his diary issues. He LOVES toast with butter.

    I give buttered toast to Saoirse all the time. If I'm eating it she insists on having some too.

    We put butter on LO's food, but we try to use unsalted butter to keep his sodium intake to a minimum.
