Most home birth stories seem to involve a birthing tub, but what if you don't want a water birth? Do you just get waterproof pads/tarps for the bed? I never thought I'd consider a home birth, but this last time it was really annoying to have to get in the car and go in just in time to push - I had no time to settle in or center in my hypno stuff after a jarring car ride and I found myself kind of wishing I hadn't had to go anywhere.
Re: Non-water home birth question
chux pads and I put something waterproof under the sheets (that were only for the birth), also we had some thin plastic to put over carpet if we needed it as well
We had a birthing tub but as you know this time I didn't really use it
