a myregistry.com question please?!
Okay, so I received an email saying three items (larger ticket: stroller, swing, and highchair set I wanted O.O) were purchased off the myregistry.com account I have set up. I have amazon as well as Wal-Mart.com items added to this registry. If you have used myregistry.com you know to add Wal-Mart (or any site that doesn't automatically update through them) you have to actually manually add the items via the toolbar you install from the myregistry.com site. Well the three items are being shown as purchased on myregistry.com, however I also have the items on a registry on Wal-Mart itself. Are the two linked? Meaning the purchase should show on both, or will it only show up on the myregistry.com if that is the site they went through to view the items from Wal-Mart? Will it only show up on Wal-Mart if they went directly to that registry itself, but not on myregistry.com? (Sorry these are the first items anyone has bought me so far, and I am wondering if they actually got bought or if it is a mistake). I am only really questioning it because they are such big ticket items, and they apparently bought all three, so I am wanting to make sure that it actually happened, because someone else had also planned to by the stroller next week, and I don't want two. But I don't want to tell them not to get it only to find out the myregistry.com site made a mistake. Is it appropriate to ask the person straight out? Kinda would seem awkward to me to ask "Hey did you really buy these?!" Haha.

I loved myregistry.com and had no problems/confusion with it - they do a good job of keeping it pretty simple for people to use. Yes, the purchasers themselves mark the item as purchased, but it would be pretty hard to mess up. Have you logged out and tried going on as a guest? After someone views an item, they mark whether or not they purchased it. I cant see any reason someone would mark it as ourchased if they didnt get it.
The item(s) will not show up purchased on your Walmart registry because the two are not linked (that is why I didn't overlap items. If I had an item on myregistry, it was not on another registry and vice versa). You could check your Walmart registry and see that the item is still there.
