Two random thoughts...

Yesterday my BIL and my sister's friends were complaining about the price of diapers, but when I mentioned cloth, they both scoffed at me.  "I don't want to have to do the laundry."  Ok...well continue to pay thousands of unnecessary dollars for diapers then.

Also, I was wondering if any celebrities cloth diaper.  There are a lot of famous people who are crazy about the environment and chemicals that are in foods and other baby products, but I wonder if they carry that over into diapering.

    I'm always surprised by peoples' ideas about "all the laundry"-- one extra load every other day really isn't much.

    I feel like my laundry routine has gotten more organized since having DS and starting to CD. All of our clothes get clean faster since I'm already doing laundry, I just throw in an extra load. : )

    I was wondering about celebrities who CD too, and I found that same blog. Apparently, Tori Spelling is a big fan of FB. A lot of celebs use HH too. They get them in free swag bags at events and when they have babies, and they get converted to cloth. It's pretty smart on the part of the CD companies. They are generating some good business for themselves, and raising awareness about cloth at the same time!

    Laundry thoughts are overwhelming, I was in that position but it was a no brainer for me since my main concern was chemicals in the sposies. Doing the laundry has also helped me organize myself, I run the dishwasher one night, then the next day I do laundry, the next day I clean the apartment, then repeat lol. I think people who are overwhelmed with the thoughts of laundry should do some research and see what people that are already cloth diapering think of the work. Most people think that only SAHMs CD, and even if that was true, staying at home doesn't mean you are free all day long.
