I am going to to nuts

If one more person tells me how little I am or how there is no way I could be 33 weeks I may go nuts! I have gained about 18 pounds and measure exactly on track at every doctor appointment. Why do people always feel the need to make a comment about the size of pregnant women?! My Dr has never once made a comment to me about being too little or there being anything wrong with my size so I'm not sure why everyone else feels the need to!

  • There are always go to be people who make comments about a pregnant. Women's. Stomach like Carrying high means this low means that just take all the bs they talk with a grain of salt

  • I can relate. I am 30 weeks and get the same comments. I actually had a woman tell me this past week that I don't even look pregnant. I just looked at her and said "Well, I'm not lying." lol. It has shocked me that people who have been pregnant before make the comments. You'd think they would remember what it feels like to have people constantly commenting on their appearance.

  • I feel your pain but on the opposite end of the spectrum. People are moving out of my way afraid I may explode right there on their shoes. They get this horrified look when I tell them I have 8 weeks left. I am petite and am all belly and this is my 2nd. People are just annoying and don't think before they speak.

  • I get the same comments and I chalk it up to people trying to make us feel better. It's so often we get the "you look like you're going to pop" or the " any day now" comments that they want to do the opposite, in a way to make us feel better. When people tell me I look small or they can't believe I'm due in June I just say Thanks.

This. I wish someone would say I was tiny :( I get the "don't go in to labor on me" comments all the time.

  • Yup yup!!! I feel your pain! I keep getting, "for a second baby you sure are small...is it healthy?"  WTF???!?!

I hate to say it, but this is only the beginning of stupid comments and questions. Apparently everyone else knows what's best for baby....

  • If you're doctor says you're doing fine, why are you letting these comments get to you? Obviously, the medical professional is the only opinion that really matters.  I never understand why women get so worked up about other people's comments.

Because I find it extremely annoying! Why do people always feel the need to make a comment? I'm a nurse so I'm a medical professional myself and know everything is just fine but I still get annoyed with the comments!

  • I'm right there with y'all. I'm getting people saying on your starting to he a little belly! You should get to find out what your having in a few weeks! Im like no actually I found that out at 17 weeks... Which was 4 months ago!! Even my family is saying stuff! At my 4D ultrasound some of my family went and my grandmother asked the u/s tech if she thought I was big enough to have a baby?? I was like uh what is that suppose to even mean! My doctor did get on to me at about 23 weeks when I had only gained 2 1/2 pounds but I eat xonstantly and the baby is perfectly healthy:) people are just crazy!  And ladies that said its the opposite for y'all, how do you keep from going off? That's the LAST thing anyone wants to hear when there pregnant is anything about there appearance!

  • I have the opposite problem.  Being this is number 2 I've looked pregnant since 12 weeks.  I've been asked for weeks now "you're about ready to pop" when I say, no like 2 more months they ask, WOW You must have gained like 40 lbs.

Yeah, no, 16 lbs but TYVM.

To my boys:  I will love you for you Not for what you have done or what you will become I will love you for you I will give you the love The love that you never knew
