Water temp for a soak...I'm a little worried?

I am rocking a soak right now in my laundry sink. I did straight hot water. I have no idea how hot our water is. As dumb as this sounds, I can stick my hands in there for a few seconds without feeling the need to pull it out...but its still hot. I am worried about the PUL in my pockets. Should I be? I'm wondering if I should go add cold water but the tub his completely full....I'd have to pull the drain for that and Im not sure I could stick my whole hand down there to find the plug!

  • It'll be fine. Now if you had boiled water and put your diapers in boiling hot water then that might lead to problems

  • I wouldn't worry about it messing up your diapers, but in the future I'd use warm water for a soak.  Using hot can allow stains to set in, so you should always pre-wash or pre-soak diapers in cold or warm water.

Thanks. I had already washed them and did a cold pre-rinse. The dipes are stain free.
