Hanging wet bag or pail with washable liner? Preferences?

Trying to decide which is more convenient for our son's nursery - either a hanging wet bag or a step can with a washable liner. I plan on getting a smaller hanging wet bag for the bathroom for the rinsed out poopy diapers. What do you all recommend? Thanks!

  • My baby isn't here yet, but I went the hanging wet bag route.  I've heard that you need to clean the pail from time to time if you use a pail with liner.  I'm not interested in doing that really, especially if I can just throw my wet bag in the wash with the diapers!  We got a Planet Wise and a Kangacare (Rumparooz) wet bag to rotate through.

  • We use Planetwise and Rumparooz wet bags.  FYI, you shouldn't need to rinse poopy diapers in the beginning.  In fact, I've only ever rinsed one poopy diaper.  We do keep a wetbag in the bathroom, but it's more for mama cloth than for diapers.
