The Birth Partner. I found it easy enough to read, comprehensive for both me and DH, and the organization and layout of the book made a lot of sense to me. I think it was book 8 of 10 that I read, and I wished I'd read it sooner.
I am reading Ina May Gaskin's "Guide to Childbirth". She is so easy to read and understand.
This one. There were alot of birth stories but they are very positive and empowering!!
I am currently reading this one, largely because I really wanted to read a book that presented birth in non-scary way and to read about positive experiences.
If you're giving birth in a hospital I liked "Natural Hospital Birth." It really teaches you how to create a positive environment for a natural birth in a place where that isn't the norm.

Re: Happy Sunday! What is your favorite NB book?
It's not really a "how to" book, but it is my favorite- "The Surprising History of How We Are Born," by Tina Cassidy
I also think anything by Henci Goer is worth a read.

I read this cover to cover months ago. I loved it so much. I am now reading all the birth stories over again.
