Cloth Diapering Help Please!

Hi Ladies, 

I'm not due until October and am just beginning to consider cloth diapers. I have read a lot of the posts on this board, but I am so clueless I'm not sure where to begin. Could you please refer me to any websites/resources that you found helpful in the beginning? I need help understanding basics, options, etc. Thanks a ton! :)

    Yay for thinking about cloth!  I love CDing :)

    The FAQ at the top of the board is a good place to start, it helps with the basics and answers some common questions.  After that, there is a series on YouTube called cloth diapering 101 that is great to watch to explain the different types.  It can feel overwhelming to start but once you get the hang of it it'll be easy.

    I think you need to decide what you want to spend and what direction you want to go as far as style / type of diaper you want to use.  Good luck deciding & happy hunting for them when you choose.

    The Youtube videos are what helped me realize that it is do-able!  I was so confused until I watched them!  I'm a very visual learner though!

    I would also suggest checking to see if there is an actual cloth diapering store in your area. It's great to be able to hold and see how all the diapers work in person. Ours even has a little change table set up and you can try putting the diapers on a doll.
