I also had 2 metal flower clips on the other side.
*Side note - we're cracking up here b/c the priest gave the warmest and most amusing homily during a wedding we've ever heard. He had known my husband for years (was principal of his HS) and made everything so personal - it was seriously my favorite part of the actual ceremony.
ETA: This is one of my favorite photos of me, right after I got my hair done.
I don't know why, but I keep getting surprised by the fact that you're blonde. I think all the Colleens I've known have been brunettes and I just picture you as a brunette in my head. Beautiful pic, btw!

Thank you! The flowers are the same that are on the dress, we had the designer send us a few extras. I loved my hair stylist, I gave her the flowers, showed her a picture of the dress, told her I wanted my hair up and let her do whatever she wanted.
Thanks! That is funny, now that I think of it, all of the other Colleens I know are brunettes or redheads!

Gorgeous hair ladies! Everyone wanted me to have a tiara and huge veil. I wanted neither, so I settled on a blusher and small jeweled clip. (Sorry for the kissy pic, it's the only one that really shows off the back of my hair.)
So pretty and elegant! I too love the flowers.

Thanks and thanks to Liz too. The best man's wife did my hair. She is amazing-it turned out exactly how I wanted it to. She cuts and colors it now too. Plus, it's fun to catch up every time I go in to the salon.
