I've tried lots of natural sunscreens. I like to use something that is rated a 1 or 2 on skindeep. However I have yet to find something rated that low that is not whitening. Has anyone else had luck finding something that doesn't turn you white and works well AND has a low skindeep rating?

Re: Non-whitening sunscreen
There's a difference between sunscreen and sunblock. Sunblocks are just that - blocks. They're titanium dioxide or zinc oxide. They will whiten your skin because they are barrier protectors. Sunscreens are chemicals. They don't whiten you since they're not providing a barrier but because they're chemicals they won't score a 1-2.
Unfortunately, companies use sunblock and sunscreen interchangeably even though they're different. It drives me batty!
i do know the difference and also use those names interchangeably. i know there are some "sunblocks" that are less "whitening" and was looking for some reccomendations
I've tried many kinds and I like to use Badger brand unscented for my body and for my face, Kiss My Face Face Factor Sun Screen for Face and Neck.
The KMF blends really well and isn't greasy. They also make sunblock for your entire body so maybe try that kind out. The Badger takes a bit more effort to rub in but still doesn't leave as white of a hue as other brands I've tried.
