Cloth Diapering

one size diaper question

if you use the snaps to adjust the rise of your OS diapers, do you un-do the snaps before washing?  I haven't been since it seems like a waste of time to un-do those snaps, and then re-do them when stuffing the pockets.

  • Heck no.

Sometimes my inserts unsnap themselves, though.

  • No.  I can't remember where I read it, but they don't recommend unsnapping them every time because it puts unnecessary wear on the snaps.  It can cause them not to hold together very well.

  • nope, the only thing I'll unsnap are the inserts.  I've had issues with the folded over part getting good and clean in the past if I leave them snapped.
