one size diaper question

if you use the snaps to adjust the rise of your OS diapers, do you un-do the snaps before washing?  I haven't been since it seems like a waste of time to un-do those snaps, and then re-do them when stuffing the pockets.

    I don't unsnap to wash.  That'd be a pain.

    Sometimes my inserts unsnap themselves, though.

    No.  I can't remember where I read it, but they don't recommend unsnapping them every time because it puts unnecessary wear on the snaps.  It can cause them not to hold together very well.

    nope, the only thing I'll unsnap are the inserts.  I've had issues with the folded over part getting good and clean in the past if I leave them snapped.
