What are you ladies giving your lo's for breakfast? The pedi said not to give Myles eggs or milk until after a year because of possible allergies in some babies. So what do you give if they're not doing baby food anymore?
I was going to say oatmeal and fruit as well. Our Pedi also talked about giving him bread/bagel (innards) with cream cheese. Did your Dr want you to stay away from all dairy including yogurt as well? Because that would be another option...you could also browse around wholesomebabyfood.com and look for recipes for various pancakes including baby cereal pancakes, sweet potato pancakes, pumpkin pancakes, etc
ETA: If only I would have read the recipe...both uses eggs so maybe just google pancake recipe without eggs. Most will probably use vegetable oil as an egg substitueso I'm not sure how you feel about that. But remember when cake mixes used to say you can substitute applesauce for oil for a healthier version? That's probably one too many substitutions but you can always experiment if you feel up to it.

No, he just said eggs and ice cream pretty much. He said he could have whole milk yogurt but no milk till after 12 months.
My babybook says he can have egg yolks so I give him those.
Today we had yogurt and bananas and half a glute-free waffle (they were also dairy free and egg free) I found them in the freezer aisle.
Yesterday yogurt and bananas with cheerios for finger foods. We have also done steamed apple slices and sweet potatoes and gluten free bread with fruit mash on it but he has tired of those.
We are completely dairy free, but DS gets: Oatmeal, cut up fruit, dry cereal, homemade pancakes, scrambled egg yolks. We do full eggs if they are cooked into something, but only yolks alone.
We do give eggs but just started giving him egg whites. He didn't show any allergy to the egg yolk so felt it was ok to try the whole egg. Anyway, we give fruit, cheerios, turkey sausage(if we have it), ham, multigrain waffles, croissants, BM. Sometimes we give him dinner stuff for bfast. He doesn't know any better and eats most stuff that we've put in front of him.
