We don't have that in Virginia (lord I wish we did because M is racking up the medical bills!) but we have other waivers and they are really confusing too. Even some people I spoke with at social services don't have a clue about them.
i know, i've even talked to people here in MD and for us there is no winning situation. it's ridiculous that the disabled children of working individuals basically get no other assistance. don't even get me started on it!

Sorry that some of your states don't have help
The good news is, with LA being 100% NPO, she should easily qualify under "nursing" and her therapy needs will just back it up.
It is such a major PITA--I just keep reminding myself that it will be worth it in the end (must keep repeating!!!)
