Sleep... Must be for the strong!

That whole line about sleep is for the weak is all wrong! It's for the strong mommys who don't have anxiety....

Ok, so at nap time O usually rolls over and ends up sleeping on her tummy, but I'm awake and able to check on her.. Well she has rolled onto her tummy tonight and I'm totally loosing sleep over it. If I move her she wakes up!

It's 1am..Ahhhh!

Re: Sleep... Must be for the strong!

  • Oh hang in there.  DD has shown no interest in her tummy for sleeping but I would be worried about her too even though I know she is OK.  Last night she slept 7-3 her longest ever and she has a cold so I woke up at 12:30 and 2:30 but resisted going in because that would have made her mad.

  • I knew she was ok.. I just wasn't prepared!

I stayed up reading about our hot water heating system.. Fell asleep and she woke at 5... Ack! Earliest wake up in a loooong time.

  • Both of my girls turned into tummy sleepers when they learned to roll. I was a super nervous mama for a while, but after watching them sleep for a bit and knowing how strong they are, I'm okay with it. Mostly :)

  • I didn't sleep much the first few nights C started sleeping on his belly. Though I think DH was more freaked out than I was. Then he started sleeping face down in the mattress.

Hang in there, it will get easier!
