Hi Ladies - My DD is almost 9 months old and I nurse her to sleep for both her naps, I nurse on demand, and she sleeps in bed with us and nurse throughout the night fairly often to get back to sleep.
Here's my question: We are doing BLW, but she doesn't eat very much at all. Today she had about 1/4 of a mango and about 6 noodles of mac-n-cheese.
Am I nursing her too often? I have a nap/sleep schedule but no feeding schedule. She doesn't ever seem hungry for breakfast because she just came off a all night nursing binge.
Should I change things up? Or does this sound relatively normal for BLW?
TIA

That says that at 12 months, being 75% breastfed / 25% solids is good, so honestly I wouldn't (and didn't) worry about it. DS isn't a big solids eater, but he's growing and happy and meeting milestones. Breastmilk is pretty nutritious stuff. Just make sure to offer high iron foods frequently.

Your milk or formula is what really counts right now. If you think of "solids" like samples, your babe is just taste testing those things right now. If you are always feeding milk or formula, then offering solids, your baby will get everything they need.
