Nicknames for lo?

I was wondering what everyone is calling their lo.

Dh was saying "the new one" and it bugged me but he was like what do I say? New baby? Idk last time we called lo #1 baby Daniel bc it's dh's name. We didn't end up naming him Daniel after all. Ha ha so apparently we suck at picking a nickname.

We call this baby D'Brickshaw, which is what we called ds when I was pregnant with him. We are team green, so we wanted a silly name. For mon football fans, D'Brickshaw Fergusen plays offensive tackle for the Jets. Our friend, also team green, called their first LO Macktar the Vengeance.

My EDD is 11/6/12 -- Election Day. So we've been calling the lo "El Presidente."

(this provides endless puns, for example, "oh, this morning sickness is killing me. The president is so oppressive!")

I call this one the peanut. Our first was referred to as bug. We will only use this until the a/s, then will start calling peanut by his or her name, although as of this moment we have no boy name picked.

I've been referring to LO as various types of berries. Blueberry, Raspberry, Strawberry, Boysenberry...etc.

For whatever reason I don't think I've ever had a nickname for either of my kids in utero... now I call DS#1 bud or buddy and DS#2 is monkey, but neither of their names really provide for suitable nicknames I think and I almost feel like it's bad luck (call me superstitious, I dunno) to use the names we plan on calling them before they are born.

Though this one will probably be "Moe".

We've been calling little one "Gizmo" because I get so hungry. DH said, "I wonder if it's like "The Gremlins" and we shouldn't feed it after midnight, like Gizmo." It stuck.

We have called it peanut, nugget , DH calls it his spawn. My step daughter calls it pumpkin since i am due in the fall but she also calls it whatever fruit it is compared to each week lol

My friend and I actually came up with the name "CJ" while on vacation bc she actually got sick of calling it "it". CJ stands for our last name and then jr. It's actually sticking pretty well already. The girls name we have picked out actually starts with a C so maybe we can come up with a J middle name and do the same for a boy? Who knows

my girls 6 and 9 thought the ultrasound of our new baby looked like an alien...so affectionately they call our baby alien.

The baby in me is Aquafrog, our future adopted is Yardstick. We got sick of friends and siblings stealing our names, so we started saying we'll name our daughter Aquafrog and our son Yardstick. No one is stealing those! I jokingly called the baby Aquafrog one night and it just stuck.

We've been calling it whatever the fruit or veggie size of the week is. My personal favorite was blueberry since it sounded so cute! I'll be happy next week when it's not a prune anymore
