What did I get myself into?

I just agreed to babysit my cousin's 1m old baby girl tomorrow overnight. During the conversation, I was thinking "sure no problem!" then immediately after I hung up the phone I was like "omfg 2 babies!" As if that's not scary enough, a baby and a newborn!

Pray for me.

I guess this will be like a mini test of whether or not we're ready to ttc #2, we've been bouncing that convo around for a while now. I hope I don't totally freak out, the thought of a newborn and my LO all night is scaring me right now.

That's all, just a little melt down! Hope everyone's having a good night.

Aww thanks! She is really cute, but sooo teeny tiny. I hope she sleeps and eats, then sleeps more lol.

Ouch! Where are they going? I don't know if Stick out tongue I could've left LO overnight at that age. I'd gladly do it now, but no one is offering to keep him.

I had a dream last night that I had 3 new babies. It was a weird dream. Two of them were twins and one was a singleton, but I gave birth to them all at the same time. I woke up practically in a panic attack. It made me realize how NOT ready I am for another baby.

I would call that a nightmare not a dream. One baby a time for me please or else I'd be checking into the loony bin.

My neighbors have triplets NO THANK YOU!

As for whether it will see if you're ready for another one yet or not... yes and no. It's different when they're both yours. You already have a routine established and you know the baby's needs better.

But wow Im not sure I'd even want to watch someone elses newborn lol Good Luck lol

And I agree to whoever said it before, I;d gladly let someone take my kids over night but no wants my kids lol

I am actually a little jealous. Charlie will not snuggle anymore or sleep on me ...I want a newborn to snuggle

Note to self - find baby to snuggle.

oooo... I actually think this is a good idea, especially if you are thinking about TTC#2. I dont know any local friends with new babies, otherwise Id be tempted to give it a whirl too! Good luck and I hope it goes smoothly ( and that you catch the new baby fever- I love seeing all the July 2011 mommas preggo again!)
