Court Hearing is tomorrow.....FINALLY!!!

After three continuances, we finally have court tomorrow - Friday the 13th!

I know every situation is different but can you give me an idea of what its going to be like?

How long did it last?

Did you have to testify?

What was the judge like?

How did your ex react?

Did you get what you asked for?

 I dont really know what else to ask......I guess I just want to know how everyone else court day went.

    Is this for CS or custody?

    I had my CS court date last week.  It went well considering ex didnt bother to show up.  He listed zero income so they took his potential earnings at minimum wage and calculated from there.  I didnt have a set number in my head and know his work ethic is awful so i am happy with what was ordered.  the judge also ruled in my favor for back support.  I did have to answer some questions , mostly yes,no and the court appointed lawyer did the rest of the speaking.  I guess it was easier for me because i didnt have my ex there to contest the amount.  But now that he has gotten the mail he is furious and is already demanding it be lowered.  sigh it never ends!  goodluck to you

    How did it go?  I have my court date next week and luckily my atty only filed for CS so we won't be able to discuss custody.  Which is great for me because I am happy(well as I can be in these circumstances) with our current temporary ordered visitation.

    I am so NERVOUS!!  Weds. can't get here fast enough.  I've been waiting for this day since last August.
