What about soft tacos, burritos, enchiladas or quesadillas? I always serve them with avacado slices and sour cream (dip!), since dipping things makes them more willing to eat it.
Another favorite here is the typical mac & cheese.

Pasta with a butter sauce. Everything else is iffy lol
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

There are only a few things I KNOW she will eat: mac and cheese, pb&j, spinach tortellini, waffles, cheerios (and snacks like fruit/veggie pouches, cheddar bunnies and graham bunnies).
Yep, that's it. Everything else is a total crap shoot.
Brought to you by IVF, ICSI, limited fert, and oocyte cryopreservation. Because we're fancy like that.
Nothing is 100% shot with my DS. Sadly. But toast with margarine, mac n' cheese, goldfish, French fries and chicken nuggets are a pretty safe bet most days

The only thing that my kids will eat for sure is PB & J. I need some inspiration!
I wish Nicholas would eat PB&J. I know if I handed him one, he'd take it apart and make a big ole mess. Hmmmm maybe I'll try giving him one tomorrow and see what happens.

Eliza is not a picky eater & I consider myself very lucky! She definitely has favorites though & often gets into a routine where she wants all favorites without branching out.
Bkfst: pancakes, waffles, eggs & toast, cereal
Lunch: ham & cheese pita. Every single day! Pretzels & baby carrots
Snacks: fish, apples, berries, bunny crackers, almonds, oranges, black beans
Out to eat: grilled chicken, noodles & meatball, hot dogs & Chipotle (quesadilla, beans, rice)
TTC since Dec '04

My Blog
Mine are super picky. The only thing I know they will eat is cereal and yogurt. Sometimes tortilla chips dipped in hummus. Most of the time mac and cheese. I hate meal time at my house. Sorry. no inspiration here.
Re: A meal that you KNOW your kids will eat?
Pizza.
(That wasn't much help, was it?) My kid is picky, too!

these are almost always eaten...but last night he turned down meatballs...so nothing is a sure fire in our house
edamame, pizza, pasta with red sauce, anything with soy/ginger sort of sauce, pad thai, black beans, any kind of sausage

Because we're fancy like that.
Most kinds of rice (love vegetable fried rice with edamame)
Pizza
Pasta with marinara and meatballs or sausage
Any kind of sausage (they love bratwurst, believe it or not)
Hot dogs and mac and cheese
My kids eat on opposite nights - they don't like the same things.
The only thing that they consistently both eat are chicken nuggets and pizza. The will both eat corn.
DS will eat any kind of pasta or mac and cheese, and would eat that every day if I let him.
DD will eat most kinds of chicken, fish sticks, hot dogs, hamburgers. Not such a pasta fan.
They both will eat corn, carrots, peas, and green beans frozen mixed veggies, but go through phases as to which parts they eat.
So hard!!
Fruit & chicken nuggets. Oh and nutrigrain bars.
Alex also loves tater tots.
All other foods are a crap shoot.
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!
sFET 11/9/11 - Beta 11/18 BFP!
Bean & cheese burritos
Mac & cheese
Mandarin oranges
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
I hope I don't jinx myself here but here are some things Nicholas will eat:
Black Beans- I think I would cry if he refused them since this is my go to for him. When he won't eat anything else, I'll give him these.
Veggie Hot Dog
Mandarin Oranges
Cheese
Bread
Pizza Bagels
Chicken Nuggets
French Fries
Mac and Cheese
Pasta
Bananas
Everything else is iffy- like apples and grapes and carrot sticks, chicken, lunchmeat turkey, broccoli, pineapples.
I wish Nicholas would eat PB&J. I know if I handed him one, he'd take it apart and make a big ole mess. Hmmmm maybe I'll try giving him one tomorrow and see what happens.
