I am one of those unfortunate women

in Success after IF
whose light mild periods before pregnancy have now turned into heavy painful periods after pregnancy. I thought the first one was just because it was my first PP AF, but no, they are staying like this. Maybe not as bad as that first one, but I have never had AF's like this in my life. I don't like this. I don't like this one bit.

    I had the exact same thing happen and was so disappointed.  For the first time ever I was like, oh, that's what all these women have been complaining about all these years.  Sorry!

    Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck.  Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.

    If it makes you feel better, my first 3-4 PP AF were insanely heavy.  So heavy I thought I should call my doctor at one point.  But my last couple have been back to normal.  So there is hope :)

    Same thing happened to me until I started BCP and then it went back to normal.
    2nd ectopic resulted in loss of tube. HSG revealed remaining tube is "severely torqued".
    IVF #1: ER 03/29/10; ET 04/01/10: transferred 2 embies; Beta #1 (9dp3dt)- 45; Beta #2 (11dp3dt)- 91= BFP
    FET#1: ET 04/18/12: transferred 4 embies; Beta #1: >2 = BFN
    IVF #2: ER 06/20/12; ET 6/25/12: transferred 2 embies; Beta #1 on 7/5/12= BFN
    8/16: hysteroscopy for polyp removal
    11/11: hysteroscopy #2 for yet another polyp removal
    FET#2: ET 12/15/12: transferred 3 embies; Beta #1 (9dp5dt): 12/24/12: 426; Beta #2 (11dp5dt): 845= BFP
    u/s 1/9= triplets!; miscarried all three on 1/10/13...

    Me too.  I was fine after my son but after my daughter, it's been insane.  I almost called the doctor one time because I was scared I was losing too much blood too fast.  I'm wearing tampons and pads and still changing every hour or two.  It's scary.  I never thought I'd say this, but now I'm looking forward to menopause!
    3 IUI's and 2 IVF's later- Brady arrived. Born at 36 weeks after PUPPS and pre-e/HELLP.
    IUI- BFN IVF #1 -BFP! Allie is our 2nd IVF baby. Born at 36 1/2 weeks after pre-e again

    not only are my periods bad my PMS is much, much worse.  awful.  However, I am thankful I get my period lol (only a fellow TTTC would understand wanting a period)
