What a day!

I was working hard to get things wrapped up at work. They were letting me go, and I needed to get everything transitioned. I am so nice. While I was on a call, my water broke. I felt silly thinking I had peed myself until I realized I couldn't stop. My husband and I grabbed our bags and headed to the hospital. We got checked in and hooked it to monitors to find my blood pressure was higher than the doctor liked. Next thing I know, I am being prepped for a c-section. We had a healthy baby boy at 4:21 pm weighing 6 lbs 12 oz at 19 3/4 in long. He has a little issue with low blood sugar and body temp. But the hospital staff has been awesome.

congrats!

My biggest fear was my water breaking at work! but now i'm on mat leave and so jealous of you. Im ready to have this baby. SO great to hear all is healthy and well
