Hemp Inserts Question

So I decided to begin prepping my diapers and did tons and tons of research before I started. I went to get the hemp inserts out of the washer and lo and behold there were lots of chunks or fibers from the inserts in the washing machine.

Is this normal or did I already wreck my inserts?!

    my hemp felted alot.  Joey Bunz Premium.  I think its normal.

    Not fell apart but there were like strings of hemp fibers in the washing machine afterward.  The inserts look ok it's just that some stuff came off of them.

    ETA: they are AMP inserts

    I am not familiar with your brand, but that sounds really weird to me. I use hemp almost exclusively and I've never had that issue. I would contact the manufacturer.
