Jimmy Johns for lunch?

Is it ok to eat Jimmy Johns with the mayo on it when you're pg? I know that probably sounds stupid, but I read in one of the pg books that you shouldn't eat mayo because of the potential for salmonella...

 I would just be getting a veggie sub...

    Mayo is fine. You don't want to eat homemade mayo from fresh eggs, but I can guarantee jimmy johns does not use homemade mayo.

    They go through enough mayo and meat in one day that you can pretty much consider yourself safe from any bacteria or other nasties.

    Ditto pp on the fresh mayo issue.  I have Jimmy Johns at least once a week, and I have NO worries.
