Evening primrose oil

Who has had good luck with evening primrose oil? Did you apply directly to your stomach and heat? Insert a capsule overnight? Swallow the capsules? Or massage the oil into the cervix? Where there any side effects? 

I'm thinking about starting this along with the labor tincture my MW made for me, walking, and sex.

    No success yet, but I've been taking it orally morning and night and inserting it vaginally at night.

    my kid came the day after inserting EPO. 

    i had been taking it orally for 4 weeks (so, since 38 weeks). at 41.5, i had my membranes swept, went for a prenatal massage and inserted the EPO just before the massage. early labor started that evening and i had the baby the next day at lunchtime.
