Bad Cramps @ 4 weeks...

Hey Everyone,

I am new to the boards and just found out this week that I am pregnant after I got three BFPs. However, I am worried because I am experiencing some pretty severe cramps. I usually get HORRIBLE cramps about a week before my period- we are talking doubled-over every two hours cramps. Anyway, I am experiencing similarly intense cramping, just like I usually do before AF, this week. No bleeding and each HPT I take the line is darker and darker so I know my HCG hormones are rising, but the cramping continues.

Any insight? I have a phone call out to my doctor to ask what she suggests but in the mean time I wanted to see if anyone else had experienced this before?

    At 4 weeks, it could be implantation cramping.  I suppose if your body is prone to bad cramping, maybe it's just over reacting to the cramping.  As long as your not having any bright red bleeding with it, I would think that's what it is.  Best of luck to you!!  :)

    I was very crampy from 4 weeks to about 6 and now I still get some here and there.  I told my RE and he said it was normal but if you are concerned it doesn't hurt to call. Best of luck!

    I experienced the same thing on the night I got my bfp.  I thought for sure that I was going to start bleeding, but so far, so good.

    Thanks for the positivity! Going in this afternoon to get everything checked out to rule out any problems at this early stage. Better to feel peace of mind. Thanks again for the encouraging responses!
