We are a prefold/workhorse family, so I'm looking for a better option for potty learning. I've seen the GroVia My Choice Trainers on amazon, but I was wondering if there are any less expensive options.
Tell what you are using/what you plan to use.
Thanks!
Re: What do you use for potty learning? - cloth "trainers"?
I like the Blueberry Trainers. They are like regular underwear, but can hold a full accident.
Flip trainers are a very nice shell, but the insert SUCKS. It would be a great shell for a prefold though, that he can still take on and off himself.
SuperUndies are nice as well, but bulky. They will be great for overnight with the pocket to stuff extra inserts in, but we aren't there yet.
I tried BB trainers for my son and even a little pee would leak right out, never held a full pee for us.
I just did sposies for a bit and then he want to undies.
For DD I am looking into the flip trainers and usin flats or PFs with them. I have her in covers and pfs a lot now so she can feel the wetness, but I like the idea of being able to pull them up and down easily.
We tried fitteds with the soaker snapped out. She just saw it as a diaper and still peed in them.
She did much better with just being in undies. It took a few accidents before she realized she wasn't in a diaper, but was good after that.
