    Favorite Ice cream is mint chip!  I live in WI so were big on custard, we go to this place called leons and I always get a strawberry and pecan sundae mmmmm

    DX: PCOS/Recurrent losses/MTHFR mutation (compound hetero)
    5 hysteroscopies/2 surgical
    3 Inject IUIs = 2 m/c's and 1 BFN
    IVF #1= BFP. m/c at 7w6d. Needed 2 D&C's and scar tissue removal. Mild OHSS
    IVF #2 = BFP. Severe OHSS. 4 Drainings. TWINS!

     Rjade, do you mind if I ask where you live?  I grew up in southern WI (Waunakee), and still have a lot of family there!  Such a beautiful state!

    Still waiting to really get started here.  Got all my meds yesterday and holy crap, it's a lot.  I laid it out on a towel and took a picture of it - a couple people have been asking about the process and I figured I could email the picture out, the sheer amount of stuff (and particularly the volume of needles) speaks to how intense the process is.  When I was done taking the pictures of my meds, DH came into the kitchen and said 'OK, now for MY meds!', and he held out a single, tiny bottle of tylenol - we both just burst out laughing!

    QOTW:  I love chocolate almond, and can't wait for the weather to be warm enough to enjoy it outside!

    I'd like to be added... 

    1) which cycle you are on -- This will be our first attempt at IVF

    2) where you are in the process -- Waiting for our IVF consultation, and consent signing. Hoping to start our first ( FX only) cycle in July. . 

    3) any important dates (starting stims, ER, ET or beta) -- Nothing with an actual date yet. 

    4) anything else you want to include. -- I don't post a ton, I really lurk mostly, but I love all the check-in posts. I hope its ok that I join this one too.

    QOTW - I love mostly all ice cream, but, I could do without anything caramel or maple. I'm a chocolate lover!

    Hello- please add me over here on IVF!  I'll be starting in about a month with bcps with ER/ET late June. 

    My favorite flavor of ice cream is coffee. I recently found a flavor of Ben and Jerry called Bonaroo Buzz that's pretty awesome too!   

    TTC since 7/2010
    Dx: Anovulation, Endo, only one working tube and ovary
    IUIs 1-5 = BFNs
    IVF #1 - ER 7/9 3dt 7/12
    Transferred two beautiful 8 cell embryos
    Beta #1 7/26 = 484 Beta #2 7/28 = 1045
    . U/S 8/10 showed one baby with a strong heartbeat!

    Hello Had ER on 4/13- 15 eggs retrieved, 13 matured, and about 9-10 embryos!! ET on 4/16 transfered 1 REALLY good embryo (scored/rated higher than an 8 almost a 9? what does this mean?) 

    Just being really "patient" now as we wait for our blood work on the 28th!!

    QOTW:  Mint Chocolate Chip trumps all, but I do love a Mint Cookies and Cream combo as well....basically if there's mint involved, I'm all over it.

    I am on day 5 of stimming.  I go for my first monitoring appointment tomorrow morning, and will likely be adding ganirelix.

    Mint chocolate chip and cookie dough for sure!  I love dessert in general, as long as it's chocolate!

    Today is day 4 of stims and I had my first monitoring. I had 13 follicles between 6.5-11.5mm. I was expecting more with my AFC of 25, but quality is more important than quantity. We're expecting around 10-12 mature for retrieval, which is excellent.

    My dose of Gonal f was reduced and I will be adding Cetrotide on Sunday. Next monitoring appt is Monday with egg retrieval scheduled for Thursday 4/27. 

    QOTW: I eat so much ice cream that I need lots of different flavors to switch between so I don't get bored. I love moose tracks, Reece's, turtle treasure, mint chocolate chip, cookie dough, fudge brownie, etc etc. Yum!

    Chugging along. Going to see the MFM today to meet with a high risk OB and discuss everything and decide on metformin. We are also doing some genetic testing today since we are there. Patiently waiting for my bday to roll around so I can start Lupron. Trying to kick off the last 20lbs!

    I will eat anything sugar free these days. I love the local place that makes a sugar free sundae with sf choc syrup, sf strawberry, sf marshmallow, and pineapple...now I want one!

    Update: I POAS 4dp5dt and had a very very faint 2nd line. It has gotten progressively darker since then. But now I'm out of HPTs, so I just have to wait for my beta tomorrow. Smile  I have decided that this will work. There's really no other option. Hopefully the power of positive thinking will get me a take home baby.

    QOTW: I am perhaps the most boring person ever: vanilla. But only really really good vanilla. We have a local artisan ice cream truck in our neighborhood in the summers. Their vanilla is *amazing.* They also make a really good coffee  ice cream, which I also love.

    Update- beta is Friday and I am already itching to POAS!!!!

    QOTW: It varies. Ice cream is my all time weakness and favorite dessert. I tend to have favorites but cycle them out. Some of them are black raspberry, mint chocolate chip and cookie dough!

    Forced break due to DH getting spinal surgery in August 2011
    IVF - January 2012: BFN
    FET in April 2012 - BFP at 6dp5dt! Beta #1 at 9dp5dt: 82.5, Beta #2 at 12dp5dt: 352 Beta #3 at 19dp5dt: 6000, saw heartbeat and one little bean at 5W6D!
    After nearly 3 years of waiting our LO was born December 18th 2012!
