You know it's time to join the library when...

You start to tell the three little pigs to your baby ....and by the time you finished there were 3 pigs who lived in a paper, straw and brick house respectively and the big bad wolf ended up huffing and puffing and needing to use an inhaler and  the piggy with the brick house takes pity on him and calls 911 and the wolf ends up on a nebulizer.

You can probably tell it's been a long time since I read any kids books or nursery rhymes...Huh?

on a bright note.. Dominik seemed suitably impressed  by that version lol

    You're not alone in that..*LOL*  But guess what?  Grace had her very own children's library card when she was only 12 days old.  I couldn't resist.  I took her to the local library just 2 days out of the hospital and signed her up.  She has her own account for borrowing.  It's great!  Haven't taken any books out yet, but still.  I will be using the library LOTS in the future.  We have a great thing going there with children's programs, story time, etc...On another thought, I had a book themed baby shower and was blessed by being given tons of books to build Grace's personal library.  I'm looking forward to more and more time reading things to her before bed and throughout the day.  Yeah for books!

    I am with you there..everyone who asked what they could get Dominik was told.. BOOKS !!! I was just too lazy to go get one lol

    fantasic= note to self....I shall remind my kid when they say I am mean, that they could have had Wipz as a mommy so should count their blessings!!

    He has one normal parent, he'll be ok Wink

    ...and my stepdaughter grew up to be an awesome young woman (and trust me .. compared to her real mom..I am perfectly normal Wink ) who I just fond out is going to make me a Grandma..if all goes well this time. She was pregnant at the same time as me, but they lost the baby.. so fingers crossed she can keep this one baking Yes early days ....but I am really optimistic things will go well this time for them :)


    OMG !!!.. my son is laid in my body pillow on the floor behind me, just let rip a thunder down under fart..I turned round and he is waving his arms like Jim Cary coming out of the bathroom in Pet Detective... guess he didn't like that one much haha .. that is too frickin funny, wish I had that on video

    I feel the same way with children's books....I can't hardly remember any of them....and also children's songs, can't remember any of the words so most the time i sing whatever i can remember....

    But I do find that my Kindle is a blessing with children's books...right now it works alot better than books because my dd loves to wiggle....
