Why do Alva & Sunbaby..

Seem to resale for the same, and sometimes more then they retail for?

I know I've had a ton of questions lately. I really appreciate the replies. This is so new to me, I'm just hoping to make a smart investment with good returns.

    Resale $ usually includes shipping - so if I buy it for $5, then sell it for $5 but have to pay to  send it, I still lose a bit of $.

    I have 6 sunbaby's - I bought them new. Im just thinking they're more used because you get them right away as opposed to waiting. They take a while to get maybe like 6 weeks. I do like mine. They were 5 a piece. Pretty cheap compared to my other diapers that I got used for around $15 each.

    What PPs have said. People add to the base price to cover shipping and can also charge more b/c they can ship faster than waiting 6 weeks to get them from China. In the case of Sunbaby, there are several "hard to find" prints that some people are willing to spend up to $35 on (ridiculous!).

    This made me laugh.  Some CDs have gone for hundreds of dollars.

    Also if you have a few weeks to wait, there are often co-ops for Alvas that bring the cost of the diaper way down even from $5.
