Baby #2 on the way after 29 week preemie

Hello all!

I just wanted to post that we are expecting baby #2 and of course we are both excited and nervous. I know that a previous premature birth doesn't mean another one is inevitable, but it's still scary since DD's early arrival went largely unexplained.

DD is just over 2 1/2 now and other than a strabismus issue she has, she is doing really well. Here's to hoping that we can get to a full term baby this time around!

    CONGRATULATIONS!!!! We're hoping to have another baby too, and I love hearing stories of families who went on to have termies after their preemies. Here's to making it to full-term!!

    Congratulations! I'm at 38 weeks with number 2, after having a 23weeker with no reason.

    It can be hard sometimes, at least it was for me. I had a lot of anxiety until at least 30 weeks. I was also put on the weekly progesterone shots (you'll probably have them too; they're not that bad).

    Hang in there and enjoy the ride!

    Thanks ladies!  I am starting the progesterone shots at 16 weeks this time around.  Here's hoping that they do the trick.  I would love to have a full term baby this time around!

    Congrats and good luck!  I am also expecting #2; at 24 weeks now and on the weekly shots.
