What are you thankful for today?

I'm thankful that a Potbelly Sandwich Shop is opening down the street from my office. It used to be my favorite place to get lunch and I'm glad it is coming to Cleveland.

Also for:

my DH who got my coffee ready for me last night so all I had to do was boil the water this AM

my job and flexible schedule

the pack n play which contains my little monster in the morning so I can get ready

and tight little pj pants on babies with chubby feet poking out the bottom.

I'm thankful that DD's tubes have kept ear infections at bay for the last month (and that we haven't been to the pedi in over a month for a sick appt). Also, I'm thankful that I have a job that allows me to have the summers off so I can spend every day with DD....only 7 more weeks of school!!

I'm thankful that I'm getting close to being done with classes for this semester (and then only 1 more semester til I graduate!).

Also, I'm thankful that Clara slept a couple longer chunks last night (she woke up 3-4 times = a good night).

Lastly, I am thankful that I am invited to my dear friend's pool party this weekend! I'm excited to have some grown-up time with my friends

I've never had this but we had one open up right next to the mall a year or two ago...Is it good or really bad for you good?

I am thankful that in 67 days I am moving to a house that will cut my commute from an hour to 6 minutes giving me 2 extra hours a day with LO and I am thankful that the house has a huge yard the dogs can play in since we don't have a yard now.

I am thankful for the friends I do have...dinner out tomorrow night and one willing to put me up in Phoenix for a few days!

After a company in our area that was doing so well started laying off this week, I am very thankful for my job (although...the fact that we are doing so well, too, kinda scares me like when is the bomb going to drop on us...but there is definitely a long term need for our company and industry).

Thankful that DH is taking off days next week so I can get my mini vacay in.

Very thankful that I have a happy, healthy 10 month old that has returned to sleeping through the night the last couple of days!

It is bad for you good (at least for my sweet tooth) because they have yummy cookies and milkshakes in addition to sandwiches. The sandwiches aren't all that different from Jimmy John's.

I'm thankful that I have finally made the commitment to get in shape with an awesome trainer.

I am also thankful for:

a DH that let me sleep in this morning b/c it is my vacation week and he didn't have to go into work until 9.

a week off with my 2 great girls

a happy marriage

I am so thankful for DH... in everything he does! He really is the shiny star of a father and husband. I am so grateful for that.

I am very thankful for my job. I worked part time at my old salary's hourly rate! It has helped our budget with me working part time and being able to live VERY comfortably.

I am so very thankful DH has found a job and he seems to really enjoy it so far. (Today is only his forth day but he thinks that this job will work out)

I am thankful that I am able to stay home with my kids. I have never until I moved to Texas thought about going back to work but since I visited the office I worked at when we lived here a few years ago (we were only here 8months) it hit me that I kind of missed it. Then yesterday I walked past a daycare center and the little kids were out playing and I witnessed a little boy taking his first steps (I know this because the DCP got so excited and I heard everything she said) and it reminded me how lucky I am to stay home and how I wouldn't want to miss those moments. I have nothing against mothers who work and have kids in DC, it's just not for me.
