DMV picture-what to wear?

Im renewing my license today and Im not sure what to wear for the picture. I want to look as skinny as possible.

This is one photo I would not put much thought into at all. You go looking like yourself so that way, if for whatever reason, you are asked to show identification, your picture looks like you.
However, that said...my photo is from this time last year. When I starting into the miserable phase of my pregnancy. Quite the flattering photo, I must say!
Great so now Im going to appear naked?! Lol. I hated my last picture and this time I want to get it right. Ha!
You may be over-thinking this. Your license is a headshot so the color of your shirt won't have an impact on you looking skinny.
My last pic was amazing, and I begged them to let me keep it! It was 1 week after we got back from our honeymoon in Mexico, I got my hair cut a few days before, etc. so it all looked good. Alas, they wouldn't let me keep it and now my picture is complete with pasty skin and stringy hair
And, though sometimes you can't see the tops people are wearing, I should have chose my outfit better! I have nearly black hair and was wearing a dark navy turtleneck so you can't tell where my hair starts and stops! It's just a dark blob!
Just something to keep in mind!
I just got mine renewed before we moved so I could finalize my closing on my house. I wore a black top. The pic ended up being such a close up that you can't even see my shirt. It's like neck up. Terrrrrrible pic.
My friend that lives in LA got hers done a couple years ago and it's like chest up. Maybe yours will be the same? I'd wear black. Just don't wear a color like yellow or something that makes you look naked.

. I guess times have changed in that they only do face shots. My last picture was from over 10 years ago.
Thanks for the info. Funny thing is that Im wearing yellow. Ha!! Since Im from Cali they probably will be chest up. Going to change!!
HAHAHA I just remember my friend when I was in high school took her pic in a pale yellow shirt and she totally looked naked in her pic. It was hilarious! Hope your pic turns out better than mine did! At least I get a redo when I get my TX one.
My drivers license picture is the worst picture of me to ever exist. Even my MIL says so, and she is the nicest person on the planet...
I don't really care though. It's kind of funny to me. It's not like I pull it out of my wallet to show people. Except of course when everyone is having a "my license picture is the WORST" conversation and then I HAVE to pull mine out and say, "no. yours isn't the worst. Look at mine."
Ha!! You are making me want to see it.
. I guess if mine turns out awful all I can do is laugh too.
