I love wearing my 26 month old, but the Beco carrier is becoming uncomfortable under my stomach. I was looking into ring slings, but I have no idea which brand would be best. Any thoughts would be super helpful!
I suggest a toddler-worthy woven wrap for back carries. I still wear my 15 month old most days in a wrap. The belly now precludes front carries, and hip carries don't work for my back issues.
I have been using a mei tai tied over my bump for most of this pregnancy. I bought a used one with a padded waist (mine is a bamberoo). My daughter is over 30lbs and while I can't wear her as long as I used to, I can still wear her comfortably.

If you like the ease of an SSC, Kanga is one that can be worn with the waist belt higher up.
I am using wraps & ring slings at this point. Sakura Bloom silks are wonderful for toddlers & can usually be snagged on TBW FSOT.
I'm actually moving to SSCs right now because I need to wear under my bump & transfer the weight to my hips, & I can only do a one shoulder carry for about 10 minutes or so. So total opposite of you.

Re: Best baby carrier during pregnancy?
More Green For Less Green
I use a psling but stopped carrying DD (3 yo) bc I have SPD.
I think an onbu or a woven tied tibetan would work well too. Basically anything without a waist belt.
Thanks girls! I've been wanting to look into a woven for when the baby comes, so this is a perfect excuse!!
