We went for our 1st visit yesterday everything looked perfect and great in the u/s and now spotting today.. Nothing in underwear just when I wipe there is light blood
Was the u/s internal or external? Did you have a pap? Did they stick anything in your vagina?
I had a pap & they felt my uterus internally. Spotting after both of these is to be expected since the cervix can get irritated easily. I hope it clears up quickly for you!
If it was a transvaginal ultrasound, and/or if you also got a pap, then that's normal. Remember that spotting is pretty normal anyway - keep an eye on it, but don't panic.

I keep trying to tell myself that but so hard not to freak out I have never spotted with any of my kids so this is new!!

I agree with PPs and I hope this puts your mind to ease a bit! I have been fortunate enough to not have had any spotting in my last pregnancy or with this one. Yet every time I wipe I prepare myself for the possibility so I would be freaking my self out too. Since you had both a pap and a transvaginal u/s I would brush it off as totally normal.

I had a 6w4d u/s due to spotting and then another at 8w which I would have normally had. She did the STD testing at the same time and warned me that I might spot from that or from the u/s. I didn't but I know it is hard not to freak out! Our cervix are very sensitive right now and with all of the extra blood flowing through is it is very easy to bump it and spot a bit.

I did call the doctor office to ease my mind a little. She asked the ultrasound tech and she said yes it is normal (if pinkish) which mine is pink not Red and should turn brown tomw, if it gets worse then I will go in to ck the lil peanut out. Praying it stops before tomw !!!

No pap just both kinds of u/s !
Ah gotcha, misread! I'm glad you got reassurance from your dr. though - hopefully it'll stop soon so you won't have to worry at all about it!

Try not to worry too much. From what I understand, spotting is actually more common that we think and it is possible the u/s is to blame. Keep an eye on it and check in with your O/B if it will help ease your mind. For what it's worth I had bright red bleeding a week ago and when they got me in for the emergency u/s we found a baby who was doing just fine with a strong heartbeat.
