you guys ever think of a name then think of how other kids can tease your kid? hopefully i'm not the only one.. anyways how could Callum be teased. My H loves this name bc of his scottish background. Also, does it sound stuck up?
The only thing I can really think of is "Callous" "Call 'em" and "Calcium." Not horrendous teasers. I would probably foresee him getting called "Cal" for short.
I like the name. Stepping into the shoes of a 7 year-old class clown, all I could think of is Ca-lumsy Callum and Cal-lump. I think you can do that with any name though so I would stick with it!
I always think of talcum powder... That's not really something someone could be teased about, though, TBH.
I totally hate the name, though. Really, I despise it utterly. It just has a terribly unattractive sound to me. It's a legit name, though, so I don't have a real complaint.
ok, I guess I'm the only one,and I might be pronouncing the name incorrectly, but everytime I see this name I think of Gollum from LOTR. (and I haven't watched the movie in years)
Re: gimme all your best teasings...
I kinda like that name
I guess like another poster said, callous but that's not bad...
I just watched a show and this father named his sons Winner and Loser....

I like babynamesworld.parentsconnect site since it has a section on considering the name for parents. Callum
