So DH asked me today what I wanted for Mother's Day. I have no clue what I want. What would you like to get for Mother's Day? And while we're at it, what are your plans for Mother's Day?

No plans yet (unless he is planning a surprise). I would just like a day of him doing EVERYTHING...cooking, cleaning up after cooking, diaper changes etc. I guess I'm pretty low maintenance

IF he actually remembers its Mother's Day (last year I had to buy his present for his mother and tell him to give it to her) I'll be lucky to get a roses lol.
What I would want is either: 1. Him to do EVERYTHING for a day or 2. A necklace with DD's birthstone.

This!! I got the birthstone necklace I really wanted for Christmas do I can't think of an actual gift. I would just love a mini break from doing everything.
No real plans for Mother's Day. Last year DH sent me flowers from overseas (so he did remember that it was Mother's Day). This year we are much busier and I'm not so sure he'll remember.
I would like a letter/card from him. Something written from the heart.

DH is a great gift giver. He'll come up with something good, I'm sure. I don't really care what he does. I really can't wait for DS to be old enough to "make" mommy a gift.
Not sure about plans for Mother's Day..DH is in a super busy time at work & might be working.

OMG now I feel really materialistic. I want a coach purse haha. But I've been wanting a cross-body purse for awhile because I've almost left my purse in the cart several times while grabbing DS, and I'm sick of it falling off my shoulder while I'm carrying him. So I'd like a crossbody one so I never have to take it off or try to juggle it and it's not as bulky. Plus I've always wanted a coach purse so this is my chance because as far as Coach goes, this is one of the cheaper style purses. So anyway, DH goes "well maybe for mothers day.." but now I feel all shallow since you're like wanting stuff with LO's initials and stuff. Which I think is such a good idea, since duh it's MOTHER'S day. I really like the birthstone rings PP posted. When I have at least one more LO I want to do that. But ya. A coach purse
My Mother's Day/Anniversary present is stackable birthstone rings (I get them Friday!).
No plans for Mother's Day yet. We usually go to my mom's and have a BBQ.
Those look very nice. Where are you getting them from?
Thanks! I'm getting them at Helzberg. It is buy 2, get 1 free. I think I'm going to get a ruby one too for my birthstone or I'm going to give the free one to my sister with her DD's birthstone. I haven't decided yet...
I have learned that I get totally forgotten on Mother's Day, so I celebrate Mother's Day on Saturday. We always end up going to DH's mom's for lunch and my mom's for dinner, so there's no time for me!
I told my husband that I wanted a collage mousepad from Snapfish. I have one of my daughter, but I need one with both kids.
I had to remind DH of Mother's Day, so I don't expect much. Flowers would be nice. :-) We're planning on "celebrating" Mother's Day with my parents and my grandma the Saturday before. We'll probably go to his parents on the actual day to relax. As a PP said, I can't wait until DD can make something for me on Mother's Day. :-)
I am super lucky- I got an amazing birthstone necklace and earrings when LO was born. I would love for Mother's Day to go out to brunch and to get a massage or spa gift certificate! I never treat myself to pampering anymore!
My DH and his dad are partners in crime...they remind each other about important things like Valentine's Day and Mother's Day and birthdays. So far, they've never BOTH forgotten about a special day in one year, so that bodes well.
In fantasy world I would love a night off...a whole night to sleep straight through until I wake up the next day. That's probably not going to happen, so I'll settle for flowers and/or something inexpensive but nice like a gift certificate for a pedicure.

I don't care what I get; anything would be nice. I can guarantee that SO will not get me anything; my mom probably will though.
I want to kick SO in the balls about gift giving or the lack thereof.
I love those! So pretty!

Hmm. I highly doubt DH will remember that it's Mother's Day and that I can now participate in this day.
we shall see...
I do want this lovely diamond necklace I've had my eye on.

DH and I are not big gift giver's but if I did get something I would want a spa day to use in the near future.
We usually take MIL out to brunch for mother's day and then go to my parents house for dinner and cook for my mom.
I usually get some sort of bouquet of flowers... He doesn't put too much thought into it but that's okay.
My mom usually buys me something, and she does good at picking out things.
I wish father's day would come before mother's day because I have so many ideas for him. Maybe that would make him step up his game!!
